Glass Images produces custom engravings on glass, marble, ceramic and other surfaces. Using sandcarving, we create unique and personalized awards, gifts and presentations for commemorative occasions such as retirements, weddings, graduations, birth announcements, promotions, service awards, acknowledgments and achievements.

The customer may use one of our designs or submit artwork. Through computerized enhancement, a detailed pattern or design is produced. Using a photo-sensitive film, the design is developed into a pattern which is affixed to the surface to be etched. The piece pattern is sandblasted with abrasive material, wearing away the open areas of the pattern. Once the sandcarving has been completed, the pattern is removed, leaving a beautifully etched image on the surface, which can be painted or remain frosted.
